I bought a Kindle off Craigslist this weekend.
Reading on the Kindle Windows app was using too much battery. I wanted to be able to read at length without affecting how much time I could using my laptop on battery. Yes, old laptop battery.
I also like reading without light shining directly in my eyes.
I can attest that as reported on the Internet, Amazon will indeed remove Special Offers on a Kindle device at no charge.
“Usually there would be a charge of $15+tax for removing special offers. But as you are loyal customer of Amazon, I have removed special offers from your device for free. You wont be charged for it.”
