To End or Extend

First we make our decisions, and then our decisions make us. I once heard that.

Sometimes our past decisions break down or reach their endpoint. Sometimes we can extend those, too.

Today feels like the opposite or of yesterday in some respects. It has taken a lot of time, and not left much for writing when I’m not ahead on writing.

I had a good conversation with a friend tonight. I’ve been seeking his counsel on hearing patterns from me I have not been able to identify myself. He got me thinking about Exodus 3.
