The key to getting things done

The key to getting things done is getting started.

The key to getting started is to pick a starting point.

The key to picking a starting point is to pick something in the middle of the beginning.

Don't get bogged down with what exactly the starting point is. If something else must be done first, then you're now more motivated to do it because you're trying to get to your officially designated starting point.

Think of these mid-starting points like hooks. They will help you reel in a productive day.

It also helps to ask God for wisdom in making use of your day, the day He has given you. This doesn't have to be long, complicated, or especially devout or somber. Believe in Jesus and ask in His name for wisdom about what do to next.

“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him” (James 1:5). The “without reproach” part means you don't get in trouble for requesting wisdom from God who is “alone wise” (Romans 16:27).

Then, when He does, give thanks in Jesus name!
